Not Without Friends

BIOGRAPHY

Not without friends is the collaborative project of three of Australia’s most globally celebrated electronic artists: Luke Alessi, William Kiss, and Jordan Brando. Individually, these Melbourne - born producer/DJs have built formidable reputations across the international underground earning the support of the world’s biggest selectors and commanding festival stages and headline club shows across the globe. Together, they form a collective where their creative chemistry becomes impossible to ignore.

Forged through over 15 years of genuine friendship, not without friends exists as a celebration of connection, collaboration, and pure creative freedom. What began as three mates making music for fun has evolved into one of the most exciting projects in dance music.

Their sound is unfiltered and playful: born from instinct, spontaneity, and a refusal to overthink. Within its first year, the project saw early co - signs from heavyweights like Solomun , Peggy Gou, and Carl Cox, alongside top tier tastemakers Barry Can’t Swim, Pete Tong, DJ Seinfeld, Malugi, Chloé Caillet, Arielle Free, Danny Howard and Patrick Mason.

More recently, their infectious remix of ‘Groovejet’ by Spiller and Sophie Ellis - Baxter, saw them take the top spot of the Beatport charts. Their influence has been felt as much in their curatorial vision as in their productions: selling out DIY - style parties in unconventional spaces around Melbourne - including a now - legendary event at Rippon Lea Estate and securing a highly sought after headline Raw Cuts party in New York City.

At its core, not without friends represents a new wave of Melbourne electronic culture: fiercely independent, collaborative by nature, and always finding fresh ways to bring people together on and off the dancefloor. With their own imprint as a creative home, the trio move forward without compromise - a sonic world as bright, euphoric, and undeniably fun as the friendship that powers it.
